2004 saw huge numbers of fish in
Ucluelet and the same is expected for 2005. If you
want to fill your tub with Kings(Chinook), Coho, Halibut
and Lingcod, than Ucluelet is the place to come. We
are experienced fisherman that have had many years
experience catching large tubs of fish!
The fishing
boom starts in May and lasts until September. In
May and June, come fill your bucket with halibut
between 10-40lbs. There is also plethora of the feeder
Kings (Chinooks).
July and August see the Halibut and Chinook(Kings)
increase in size. Coho start hanging out in larger
schools. In August the Large Kings return, so come
experience the thrill of fishing for these great predators.
Also experience the rugged coastline and also go whale
watching,
golfing or kayaking.
Ucluelet is another 90 mins from
Port Alberni on the way to the Pacific Rim National
Park and Long Beach. It is a small town of about 2000
people and is a nice quiet gettaway for your holiday.
